A city suitable for every need
The accommodation facilities in Bibione are equipped to accommodate tourists with disabilities: they have rooms sanitary facilities with regulation handrails and showers that are level with the floor, along with lifts that allow transfers from the parking area to the reception desk and the residential floors.
The beach features special slides to facilitate entry and allow access to various areas. Tourists with disabilities have reserved for them the first beach umbrella adjacent to the footbridge, which has an extra walkway to make movements easier.
Also available free of charge are special chairs (sea wheelchairs) that allow beach access and swimming in complete safety. Finally, all the toilets are equipped with a bell to attract attention in cases of need, with grab bars, a floor shower and a folding seat.
Three inclusive pedal boats have also been available since August 2023, designed for people with disabilities. These are three new boats that maintain the two traditional positions, one of which, however, is equipped with a special hand pedal that allows movement to be generated through the use of the arms. In this way, the disabled person and the accompanying person can proceed in perfect harmony and actively enjoy the experience of a trip aboard one of the classic summer amusements.
The service will be free; the pedalos are located in the stretch managed by Bibione Mare, at the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale and at the Frederic Rossi rental (via Andromeda, Auriga beach sector).
Health and well-being at your fingertips
In Bibione you will find a First Aid Station, an emergency medical service, a paediatrician for the children and a Haemodialysis Centre – open from 1 May to 30 September, with two shifts and an interpreting service.
The Bibione spa is also easily accessible and includes an area entirely dedicated to physiotherapy and rehabilitation, equipped with cutting-edge technologies and a highly qualified team. The car park has parking spaces reserved for CUDE badge holders, while the structure is easily accessible and equipped with large lifts serving the different floors. The pools and the Spa are equipped with mobile lifts, adjustable beds and machinery that can also be used by people in wheelchairs.
Child-friendly services
Accessible and dedicated spaces have also been designed for the little ones: on the beach of Bibione there is an area equipped with games suitable for children with disabilities.
The play area is located in via Regolo, where there are already sun umbrellas equipped with additional walkways, wheelchairs to enter the sea and free parking on the border with the beach.
