We will briefly tell you what the different shows consist of:
Vague / beach in fron of Chiosco Blu – Bibione Pineda
Vague is a site-specific circus and contemporary dance show on the beach, featuring circus acrobatics and vertical aerial dance. Three bodies come out of the sand like algae, marine creatures moved by the current, the choreography is fluid, dense, delicate and at the same time humble and stubborn in the physical effort that the natural environment requires. The interpreters slowly reach the shore and disappear into the dark sea. A floating structure/sculpture rises 6 meters above the surface with its white sails. A second choreographic movement begins which combines aerial rope, vertical dance and aquatic movements on the horizon. As on a tiny vessel that has no course to follow, the dancers are suspended above the high open sea. The choreography is a reflection on the fragility of coastal and marine ecosystems and our relationship with them. The music finds the sound of the sea on the strings of a viola, with tracks performed live. The direction and choreography are signed by Piergiorgio Milano.
Curtain call / Green area along the beach – Lido dei Pini
“Curtain Call”, by German artists Circus unARTiq, is a show with a curtain 8.5m high and 7m wide, in which circus techniques such as the Chinese pole and acrobatics on a swinging trapeze provide the vocabulary for a contemporary and full metaphorical language of hope and repeatedly ensure moments of amazement and leaving all worries behind. Modern electronic sounds will mix with live music, with a saxophone playing the soundtrack at dizzying heights, for a vertical dance up a rope ladder. The protagonist is Lisa Rinne, a very strong circus artist awarded the Silver Medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris, the Silver Elephant at the Moscow International Circus Festival, the Silver Lion at Wuqiao and the Gold Medal at the European Youth Circus Festival in Wiesbaden.

Accumulation and repetition. Playful danger or dangerous fragility? Encore une fois is the idea that error is permitted: so, let’s get confused and start over. It is a show that redefines vertical and horizontal space, without ever forgetting that the circus is risk. All seasoned with improvised acrobatics to the rhythm of… ping-pong balls! Carried by 6 shoulders, designed by 3 heads and signed by 1 collective, the Tripotes la Compagnie, it offers a playful and effective circus show.
Piti peta hoefen / Municipal Park Viale dei Ginepri – Bibione Pineda
Three jugglers, three objects, three countries. A show full of humour, madness and secret techniques never seen by a human audience. The three characters live in an absurd universe governed by an iron and incoherent logic, where comedy reigns supreme and juggling is the mother tongue. The “Piti Peta Hofen Show” is a mix of three radically different personal styles characterized by irreverent theatrical games, extreme improvisations and a hallucinatory obsession with objects.
