Mario Cipollini, a former Italian cyclist considered one of the best sprinters of all time, said:

The bicycle has a soul. If you manage to love it, it will give you emotions that you will never forget.

Mountain-bike and bike-cross enthusiasts will have the chance to live unforgettable emotions in Bibione on Saturday, 16th September 2023 by getting on their bikes to take part in the Bibione Bike Trophy, a 6-hour mountain bike endurance race. The appointment for departure is at 3 pm in Piazzale Zenith, ending at 9 pm.

The race, which reaches its tenth edition in 2023, will host the 1st Italian Endurance 6H FCI Championship; it is characterized by a closed loop route to be repeated several times with a length of 7.5 km, of which: 5.75 km single track, 550 meters beach, 1 km asphalt/bicycle path.

Both individuals and teams of 2, 3 or 4 people can participate with the relay scheme. Registrations are already open and will end at 11:59 pm on 14th September 2023 (it is not possible to register on site).

The admitted categories for the Bike Trophy are Elite M/F, Under 23 M/F, Master All M/F, both for athletes of FCI affiliated bodies and foreign athletes with UCI card with a regular medical certificate for the practice of cycling; for the Italian Endurance Championship instead Elite and Under 23M/F + Master All M/F, only for FCI affiliated.

The secretary’s office will be open on Saturday, 16th September 2023 from 8:30 am to 2 pm amateur categories, from 12 pm to 2 pm for agonist categories at the Sports Hall in Via Maja 63; the awards ceremony will be held at 9:45 pm in Piazzale Zenith and will concern:

  • The first 3 absolute athletes in the Single Man category;
  • The first 3 absolute athletes in the Single Woman category;
  • The first 5 classified in each category (if not already awarded in the overall classification)
  • The first 3 absolute teams of 2-3-4 male, female and mixed athletes
  • The first 10 teams with the highest number of starters registered in the Xevent MTB Challenge.
