Are you ready to play beach volleyball again in Bibione? Also in 2024, the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon®, the largest open beach volleyball tournament in the world, will be staged on our beach, in three top appointments:
- from 10th to 12th May
- from 7th to 9th June – special edition
- from 20th to 22nd September.
What it is: it is the most important sporting meeting of the specialty at an international level, an event that never stops growing and attracts more and more fans, from great champions to amateurs, from all over Europe, but also from the Americas, Africa, Australia, China and Japan.
For the new 2024 edition up to 300 playgrounds will be set up on the beach in front of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, covering an area of 120,000 square meters of beach.
As usual, teams of each level can participate to the Beach Volley Marathon® and they will be divided into the following playing categories:
- 2×2men, women and mixed / pay attention: in the special edition of June, the men’s and women’s 2×2 is aimed only at teams made up exclusively of athletes of foreign nationality!
- 3×3men and women,
- 4×4 mixed (i.e. two men and two women).
Also reconfirmed for 2024, in the May appointment, the only Italian stage of the International Beach ParaVolley Championship (Sitting and Standing), a candidate discipline for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, where athletes of different abilities will compete.
At the Sponsor Village there will be not only the playing fields but also exhibition stands, areas to enjoy the sports and musical activities, equipped areas for the pressroom and the mobile television direction and various gastronomic kiosks available to participants for the duration of the event.
Furthermore, do not miss the large evening parties on the beach (reserved for adult participants of the sporting event, registered as “Athletes” or as “non-Athletes”) and, in May and September, the “White Night” with events and entertainment in the various venues in Bibione which for the occasion will remain open until late at night:
- On Thursday, the 9th May, from 22:00 to 24:00 / the welcome party with live music to sing and dance in one of the coolest locations in Bibione
- On Friday, the 10th and Saturday, the 11th May:
- from 19:00 to 23:00 beach party
- following, White Night.
The deadline for registrations is as follows:
- registration opens on 7th February
- first deadline 28th March
- closing date 16th April.
