Nordic Walking

A popular form of exercise for years, Nordic walking is a sports discipline suitable for all ages that gets you moving up to 90% of your muscles with the use of special poles.
You can keep in shape with Nordic walking through the following tracks:

  1. Lighthouse pinewood tour about 10 km, difficulty easy, duration: about two hours and a half with stops.
  2. Pinewood, lighthouse and river mouth and back to the beach.
  3. Walk at the harbor of Baseleghe with view on the “Casoni”: about 10 km, difficulty medium (for more trained people – fitness level), duration about two hours and a half.
  4. Walk along the seafront (shore) till the end of the beach (in front of the Brussa): about 10 km, difficulty medium on the sand (for more trained people – fitness level), duration about two hours and a half with stops.

Moreover: the path running through the Holm Oak Forest, a striking itinerary for exploring an original forest of great environmental significance.

Clothing: rucksack with water bottle, rain jacket in case of cloudy weather, closed sports shoes or light trekking shoes, sun cap. Rubber tips are necessary on the walking sticks for tracks 3 and 4.

Leaving recommended hours are either in the morning at 7:30/8:00 am or in the afternoon at 5:00/5:30 pm.
