After the success of the 2023 edition, the Cross the City event returns to Bibione, changing its name for the occasion and becoming Cross the beach!
Lovers of sport and fun, get ready! On Sunday, 21st July 2024, Bibione will come alive with the “Cross the City” event, a non-competitive race open to all that will allow you to discover the city in a new and fun way.
What is Cross the City?
Cross the City is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Bibione, running through its streets, squares and seafront. A route of about 5 km, suitable for all levels of preparation, will guide you to discover the most evocative places in the city, combining sport, culture and fun.
It is a “sports walk”, with wireless headphones led by qualified trainers. Music will be a motivational tool that will not disturb the surrounding environment but will give the right push to participants to give their best: the emotions of the music will arrive directly in the headphones, together with the story of what surrounds them and the instructions of the trainers who will constantly motivate.
The meeting point for participants is at 10:00 am at the Sgambaro Arena in Piazzale Zenith. After a warm-up workout, the walk/run between sand and sea up to the Bibione Lighthouse, then return to Piazzale Zenith at around 12:30 pm.
