Lido dei Pini is the part of the beach that also hosts the famous Pluto’s Beach, which won a prize in 2010 as the best beach for dogs in Italy. All around the town lies nature that in places is still uncontaminated: tall, shady pine groves alternate with the verdant countryside that provides white asparagus, a PDO product still grown according to the farming traditions of Istrian expatriates.
